Warranty Information
SHS International warranties all products to be free from manufacturing defects to the original purchaser during the warranty period of each brand. The warranty periods are as follows:
Morgan Monroe Instruments – Limited Lifetime Warranty
Rocky Top Instruments - 10 Year Warranty
Indiana Instruments – 10 Year Warranty
Indy Custom Instruments – 10 Year Warranty
ModTone Effects – 1 Year Warranty
SHS Audio – 1 Year Warranty
Eddy Finn Ukuleles – 3 Year Warranty
JTS Professional Audio – 1 Year Warranty
Sundown Amplification – 1 Year Warranty
If at any time the product develops a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, SHS International will repair or replace the product as it deems appropriate. In the event of a repair, SHS International reserves the right to substitute materials or products of equal quality if the original materials or products are no longer available.
SHS International cannot determine the status of a warranty claim until the item is received and evaluated by the SHS International team of repair techs. Transportation costs are not covered by any SHS International brand Warranty.
SHS International warranties cover both the cost of labor and materials on any repair determined to be needed because of manufacturing defects. Any product determined to be unwarrantable, either because of being outside the warranty period or having an unwarrantable issue, will be returned to the owner..

SHS International Warranties do not cover:
- 1. Any product that has been altered or modified in any way.
- 2. Any product that does not have the original proof or purchase.
- 3. Any product that has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident or improper operation.
- 4. Subjective issues, such as tonal characteristics.
- 5. Any product that has been subjected to extremes of humidity and/or temperature.
- 6. Damage to finishes or cracks, splitting, or warpage of wood due to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to or contact with sun, fire, moisture, body salts and acids of perspiration, guitar straps, guitar stands/hangers made from vinyl, plastic, rubber or other synthetic materials, any other chemicals or non-finish friendly polishes.
- 7. Normal wear and tear on any part of the instrument, case or gig bag including jacks, controls, switches, plated surfaces, tuning machines, pickguards, zippers, clasps, handles, latches, case hardware etc.
- 8. Setups, adjustments or routine maintenance of any kind.
- 9. Any product purchased from anyone other than an authorized SHS International dealer.
- 10. Any OEM factory installed electronics after a period of one year from the original date of purchase.
